Ways to Work with SHARE

If you are a homeowner or a home seeker looking to share a living arrangement or you are a property owner interested in our Master Leasing Program, check out the following highlighted  stories. Please contact SHARE via the email link provided below to receive a follow up
phone call to learn more from one of our housing specialists.

Do You Need Housing?

Are you currently homeless or in an unstable living environment? SHARE can help pair you with a homeowner to share rent or a reduced rental rate
with exchanged services or rent your own bedroom in one of our community houses.  Please contact us to learn more.

SHARE needs your financial support

As with any nonprofit organization, SHARE needs ongoing financial support. We make every effort to write and win grants to balance our budget. It is often difficult to rely on county, state and federal funds to cover our expanding operating expenses. Any contributions from donors, benefactors and endowments are greatly appreciated and help us achieve our goal of ending homelessness in Sonoma County.

SHARE can put your rental property to good use

Meet two SHARE landlords. We have collaborated with these compassionate and generous people for over three years. They have given us use of three of their rental properties, which house 14 previously homeless individuals. We owe a lot of the success of our Community Housing Program to philanthropic landlords like this couple. SHARE master leases your rental at market rates and provides property management services at no extra cost. If you're interested in becoming a SHARE landlord, please contact us.

Consider donating household goods

SHARE has a growing number of community houses which we are responsible for furnishing. Our goal is to create a clean, comfortable and safe environment in every house for our clients. We always have a need for furniture, bed linens, towels, kitchenware and toiletries. Please visit the SHARE Amazon Wish List to purchase and donate much needed household items. Alternatively, if you live in Sonoma County and have  furniture or other household items to donate, please contact us via our email address.
